Support for Tina Comp during her recovery from brain surgery
Story
Our mom, Tina Uromtah Comp, had a brain aneurysm on Sunday, May 18th, while working in Colorado. She was airlifted to the University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora, where she is now in the Neuro ICU in critical condition. She has had three operations, and it’s now a waiting game to see what her recovery will look like. The doctors say she could easily be in the ICU for 3 weeks and then will continue to recover in the hospital before being transferred to a rehabilitation facility. She is currently showing positive signs of recovering, but she’s still sedated, intubated, and doesn’t respond to commands. We know Tina is a fighter, and we have faith she will make a full recovery.
In the meantime, we want to ensure we can keep our house in Texas. It will be necessary for her to have a place to go once she recovers. The money we’re raising will help to pay our mom’s mortgage and other necessary bills. She won’t be able to work anytime soon, and we’re still in college. Any help you can offer will go a long way and is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your generosity.
